Promotional Items For Your Inauguration Day Ball

This Sunday, President Barrack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will take their oath of office at the US Capitol. Government officials, foreign dignitaries, and local residents will most likely take part in this historic event which was originally held on March 4, also the day when the US Constitution was first implemented.
There are many activities held during Inauguration Day, one of which is a presidential ball with foreign dignitaries invited. Even in your own little way, you can simulate the ball by organizing your own. Here are the steps on how you can organize an Inauguration Day party:
Send out invites
List down the names of the people you would like to invite in your ball. Once you have your guest list, send out the invitations with the details of the party such as the location, and the time of the event. If you want people to wear custom printed clothing, them indicate it on the invitation.
Set the mood
Since it is Inauguration Day, the party would have to follow an American theme. Decorate the venue with patriotic items (See samples) such as the Stars and Stripes and Uncle Sam’s hat. You can also play patriotic songs to completely set the mood.
Play Games
To keep the party lively and fun, you can play games related to US presidents. You can have a contest about the various Chief Executives that the US have had in its history. For the winner, you can give out one dollar or less gifts as the prize.
Food And Drinks
To have an idea of what to serve for your party, you can check the food that has been served during past balls. As an alternative, you can continue with the American theme and serve favorite recipes such as chicken wings, fried chicken, burgers, and macaroni. For the drinks, you can use blue or red liquor served on matching discount custom glassware or plastic mugs with logo.
Even if you will not be attending the actual ball, you can at least have a feel of what it is like to attend such event.
